Status Bar Options in Excel:

Description of Status Bar:
- The Status Bar of the Excel window can show more information about the worksheet, like Number Lock is on or off in the worksheet.
- You can show or hide items in the Status Bar by Right-clicking anywhere on the Status Bar, and it will display the menu. You can select the item you want to show.
Options in Status Bar:
Common Modes in Status Bar are:
- *Ready Mode – * It gives the general status of the worksheet by default.
- Enter Mode – It is enabled when you are entering data in the cell currently.
- *Edit Mode – * It is enabled while editing a cell in the worksheet.
- Extend Selection – ** It is enabled after clicking **the F8 Key.
- Add to Selection – ** It is enabled after clicking **(SHIFT + F8) Keys.
- You can include special keys like Num Lock, Scroll Lock, Caps Lock in the Status Bar.
Right-click anywhere in the status bar. It will open the Customize Status Bar menu. You can choose any option in that menu to show or not show some items in the Status Bar. The right side of that menu will display the current status.
- Status Bar will show the Summary Statistics based on the numerical values selected in the spreadsheet.

- The ** Zoom Scroll Bar** is used to adjust the current level of magnification of the worksheet.
