I’m currently working on a Grocery Store Management application built with Python and Tkinter. The project already includes core features such as product management, cart operations, order completion, and JSON-based data storage.
📌 I’d love feedback and suggestions for future updates, especially around:
- User authentication and role-based access (admin / cashier)
- Stock management with low-stock alerts
- Daily / weekly sales reports (tables or charts)
- Improved search and filtering system
- Migrating from JSON to a database (e.g. SQLite)
- UI/UX improvements (modern layout, dark mode, themes)
- Barcode support or faster product entry
- Import / export functionality (CSV / Excel)
- Code structure and scalability improvements
My goal is to make this project more realistic, maintainable, and closer to a real-world grocery store system.
