ZeroFi XMR Pending on Sepolia? Check the Stages

If your XMR-to-zXMR transfer looks stuck, check its Monero confirmations, the bridge sweep, then your Sepolia wallet. Each stage has its own wait, so sending again rarely helps and can create a second transfer to track.

Check that your XMR reached the deposit address

Start in your Monero wallet’s transaction history. Find the transfer, confirm it was sent to the deposit address shown for this bridge request, and copy its transaction ID, or txid—the unique code for that transaction.

If the wallet still says “pending” and shows zero confirmations, the transaction has not yet been included in a Monero block. Monero adds a block about every two minutes on average, but the first block can take longer. Wait for the wallet to show it as confirmed before checking the later bridge stages.

For a repeated route, ZeroFi shows the XMR-to-Sepolia path and its confirmation rules. Its displayed minimum deposit is 0.01 XMR, so a smaller transfer may not qualify; check the amount and destination before sending each time.

Allow for both confirmation checkpoints

After a deposit appears on Monero, the bridge still waits for enough blocks before processing it. The current ZeroFi page lists 10 source-chain confirmations and 10 sweep confirmations. A sweep is the bridge’s onward movement of deposited XMR before it completes the wrap.

Here is an illustrative timing estimate. If your transaction enters a block promptly, 10 Monero confirmations take roughly 20 minutes at the two-minute average. A separate 10-confirmation sweep can add about another 20 minutes, so the Monero-side waits alone may approach 40 minutes. Block times vary, and Sepolia processing adds its own time.

The useful check is the stage, not the clock alone. If the deposit has fewer than 10 confirmations, waiting is expected. If it has cleared that checkpoint but the sweep has not, the bridge is still processing the XMR side; sending again does not speed it up.

Match the bridge record to your wallet

Use the txid to find the deposit record in the bridge’s transaction view, if available. Compare the displayed amount and status with your Monero wallet. The bridge explorer accepts an underlying XMR or Ethereum transaction hash, so the txid can take you straight to the matching record.

Once the bridge marks the transfer complete, check the receiving wallet on Sepolia, Ethereum’s test network. Make sure the wallet is on Sepolia and look for zXMR, the wrapped token representing XMR on that network. If it is not listed, add the token using the contract address published by the bridge, then refresh the token balance.

For a quick routine, keep the deposit txid and receiving wallet address together, then check the transaction record before changing anything. ZeroFi’s listed Sepolia chain ID is 11155111; a wallet on another network will not show the Sepolia balance.

Know when to wait and when to follow up

Wait while the Monero confirmation count or sweep count is still below the displayed requirement. Follow up with the bridge’s support channel if the deposit has the required confirmations but no matching bridge record appears, or if the bridge says complete and the destination balance remains missing. Share the txid and request details, never your wallet seed phrase.

In short, verify the deposit address and amount, track the txid through both confirmation checkpoints, then check zXMR on Sepolia. That sequence avoids duplicate sends and shows exactly where a delay sits.
