Last week a landlord emailed a lease addendum and asked for a signature the same day. I was out, phone only, no printer, and I was not installing Adobe just for one scribble.
Here is what actually worked for me.
I opened FileLumo’s eSign page in the browser, uploaded the PDF, drew the signature with my finger, dropped the date under it, then dragged both boxes until they sat on the signature line. Download, attach, done. No account. No watermark on that path.

Practical notes if you try the same thing
- Zoom in before you place anything. Phone screens lie about alignment.
- Keep an unsigned copy. Once you send the signed file, you want a clean original.
- If the portal wants a tiny file later, compress after you sign, not before. Signing first keeps the ink sharp.
This is not a certificate based eSign platform with audit trails. For a bank loan or court filing that demands that stack, use a qualified provider. For everyday “please sign and return today” paperwork, a browser stamp is usually enough.
