PDF to Word or edit in the browser — how I decide

I used to open a PDF editor for everything. That was a waste of time.

Edit in the browser when the job is small: fix a date, highlight a clause, cover a phone number, drop a signature image. Upload → change the page → download. I use FileLumo PDF Editor for that path because it doesn’t force an account before download.

Convert PDF → Word when you need real paragraph rewrites. Overlay text boxes on a 12-page contract is misery. Convert, edit in Word/LibreOffice, export PDF again.

Scans are photos. You’re stamping on an image unless you OCR. Budget proofing time.
