What Is FixKon? A Friendlier Way to Care for Your PC

FixKon is a Windows PC utility and AI assistant that helps you understand computer problems, find what’s filling your drive, and handle everyday maintenance. It brings PC tools and help with what’s on your screen into one app, so you have somewhere to start when your computer gets confusing.

Maybe you’re trying to install a game and Windows says you’re out of space. Maybe an error pops up with a message that looks like it was written for another computer.

You want to get on with your day. FixKon gives you a way to ask for help and take a closer look at what’s going on.

What can you do with FixKon?

There are two main parts: an AI assistant you can talk to and a set of tools for looking after your PC.

Ask about what’s on your screen

Hold Win + Alt, speak, and release the keys to send your request. FixKon uses a screenshot to understand what you’re looking at.

For example, you could ask, “What does this error mean?” You’re giving it the question and the screen context together, instead of typing out a long message and hoping you’ve included the useful bit.

That can make the first step less intimidating. You don’t need to know the technical name for a problem before asking about it. You can also follow up when an explanation needs a little more explaining.

For supported PC tasks, you can ask the assistant to run the relevant tools, such as a cleanup. That’s another way to get things done when you’d rather describe the job than look through menus.

Find what’s taking up your storage

FixKon’s Disk Analyzer helps you see which files and folders are using space. Its duplicate finder helps you track down repeated files, while Cleanup handles categories such as temporary files and caches.

That gives you somewhere sensible to begin. An old video export or a folder of downloads might explain more of your full drive than you expected.

Finding a large file doesn’t mean you should delete it. Your work, photos, and backups can be big for a reason. Check what something is and whether you need it before removing it.

Keep everyday PC maintenance together

FixKon’s free manual toolkit includes six tools:

-Disk Analyzer shows which files and folders take up space, so you know where to start looking.

  • Cleanup clears categories of clutter, including temporary files and caches, to make that space available again.
  • Uninstaller helps you remove apps you no longer use.
  • Performance lets you check hardware activity while investigating a slowdown.
  • Security runs checks backed by Windows Defender.
  • Device shows your computer’s specifications and health information, so you can understand what you’re working with.

You might open it to investigate storage today and check your hardware another time. You don’t have to do every bit of maintenance in one sitting.

How much storage can FixKon free up?

The amount depends on what’s on your PC and what you choose to remove. Your drive’s total capacity stays the same. Cleanup makes more of that existing space available again.

A computer with years of unused downloads and temporary files has a different starting point from a laptop you cleaned last week. There’s no single number of gigabytes that applies to both.

For example, you might find temporary files you can clear and personal files you no longer need. The space you reclaim depends on the size of the files you fully remove.

Write on Medium
Also, files sitting in the Recycle Bin still occupy disk space. Before permanently emptying it, check that you won’t need to restore anything.

The useful number is your own before-and-after result. Check your available drive space, review what the tools find, then check again after cleanup. That tells you what you’ve actually gained.

Windows has built-in storage tools too. FixKon brings storage analysis, cleanup, and an assistant into the same app for people who prefer that way of working.

What changes before and after using FixKon?

The benefit starts with a clearer picture of your computer and a more manageable next step.

If your drive is nearly full and you’re guessing why, Disk Analyzer can show you the files and folders worth reviewing first. You go from a vague storage warning to something you can look at and make a decision about.

If an error message leaves you wondering what to search for, you can ask about it with your screen as context. That gives you a starting point without having to describe every detail from scratch.

And when PC maintenance feels like a collection of unrelated jobs, you have a toolkit you can return to for different checks. You can handle the task in front of you, then come back when something else needs attention.

Installing FixKon alone doesn’t clean your drive. The gains come from using the tools and acting on what you find.

Freeing space may help when low storage is contributing to a problem. Your experience still depends on your hardware, software, and what’s causing the slowdown. A cleanup won’t turn an older laptop into a new gaming PC.

Is FixKon free?

Yes. The Starter plan includes all six PC tools for free, used manually. It also includes a one-time allowance to try the AI features. That allowance doesn’t reset each month.

That means you can explore the maintenance tools and try the assistant before deciding whether you want more AI usage or automation.

Paid plans add features such as scheduled cleanup, scheduled scans, and automatic health reports. Check the current FixKon plans for the latest allowances and options.

What about your screen and voice?

In the normal shortcut workflow, the microphone opens while you hold Win + Alt and closes when you release it. If you start a conversation in Settings, it stays open until you end that conversation.

FixKon sends your voice and screenshots to its services for processing. Its privacy policy says audio and screenshots are discarded afterward, while text conversation context is kept for about 24 hours. During an active task, the assistant can capture additional screenshots between steps to check its progress.

You can read the details and available controls in FixKon’s privacy policy.

How do you get started?

FixKon is currently available for 64-bit Windows 10 (1909 or later) and Windows 11 PCs. The download page lists a 160 MB download, 4 GB of RAM, and 200 MB of free disk space as requirements. That free disk space requirement is separate from anything you might reclaim through cleanup.

For a first look:

  1. Download and install FixKon for Windows.
  2. Open Disk Analyzer if storage is your main concern, and review what’s taking up room.
  3. Try asking the assistant about something on your screen using Win + Alt.

Start with the thing that’s bothering you today. You can explore the rest when you need it.
