I don't think this is something to attribute to wordpress though, as change always happens and we have to move with the times. ( which I appreciate you are doing )
I agree with the sentiment that they are aiming at non-techies on the whole. That is why there is such a large userbase, so it makes sense for them to focus on this route I suppose.
Is there anything in particular that you feel the jamstack is lacking at the moment?
Thanks. I feel it’s important to show the team are no longer improving any of the developer experience and this impacts employability as well as the experience. Therefore as the work decreases more people will find themselves less employable as I was starting to experience.
What is the JAMStack lacking? Only 2 things:
Notwithstanding my previous comments 🤣 low-code or no-code launching, though Stackbit, Gatsby and others are working on this.
Ability to preview content as you write. This is something high on the list for the content team I work with. We’re pretty close though, As well as Gatsby Preview & Prismic previews, TinaCMS connected to a backend is probably going to be a good solution to that one.
