Existentialism and Anti-reduction: From Fanon to Algorithms

The text analyzes racism not as a cognitive error, but as systemic ontological violence that reduces a human being to the role of an object. Drawing on the thought of Frantz Fanon, the author shows how the colonial gaze destroys the natural body schema and replaces it with a cutaneous racial schema, imposing foreign phantasms and stereotypes upon the individual. Existentialism serves here as a tool to fight objectification, pointing to the mechanisms of 'bad faith' and the projection of the white world's fears onto the Other. The article also emphasizes the need to revise universalist psychological theories that ignore the specificity of the experience of colonized people, treating European patterns as the sole measure of humanity.
