The article analyzes the challenges associated with the presence of women in perimenopause and menopause in the professional environment. The author emphasizes the necessity of separating medical diagnostics from human resource management, warning against biological essentialism which may lead to a new form of stereotyping female employees. It is crucial to shift the weight of intervention toward the healthcare system and improve the differential diagnosis of symptoms, in accordance with the WHO life-course health model. The role of the organization should be limited to removing functional barriers in the work environment and ensuring privacy, rather than exercising medical supervision over the physiology of employees. This approach allows for the preservation of the employee's dignity and avoids indirect discrimination while supporting the retention of experienced staff.
