The article presents a methodology for the empirical verification of the bio-institutional model of perimenopause, aiming to separate actual biological dependencies from confounding factors such as age or caregiving responsibilities. The author advocates moving away from a simple binary-menopausal division in favor of dynamic reproductive-symptomatic profiling based on the STRAW+10 classification and Gillian Goddard's The Hormone Loop concept. A key element of the proposed research program is the application of prospective cohort observation of women (from approximately age 40) for at least a decade, with intentional oversampling of women on managerial paths. This approach is intended to precisely determine whether the transformation of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis actually affects career events and professional promotions, eliminating recall bias and the so-called healthy worker survivor bias.
