This article presents a novel approach to the analysis of fairy tales, treating them as models of rationality. The author, Dorota Bełtkiewicz, proposes a formal-pragmatic reconstruction that goes beyond simple cataloging of plots. Instead, she focuses on extracting the fundamental conditions for understanding texts through the lens of a theory of communicative action. The analysis encompasses two regimes of practice: effectiveness and mutual understanding, embedded in three worldviews: objective, social, and subjective. The work makes a significant contribution to comparative cultural studies, juxtaposing European and Arabic traditions. Through an examination of archetypes, symbols, and mechanisms of truth verification, the reader is provided with tools for a deeper interpretation of oneirocrity and religious sign systems. This is a fundamental study of the grammar of plot and the initiatory function of being lost in narrative structure, opening up new research perspectives.
