The text analyzes the concept of the 'war for frames,' in which the key strategic asset is not the fact itself, but the model of its interpretation. Invoking General Keith Kellogg's perspective, the author describes the clash between the Trump administration and the so-called invisible infrastructure of the state as well as the media apparatus. Truth is presented as an institutional good and a tool for symbolic struggle, where imposing the right label (e.g., 'defense of democracy' versus 'political witch hunt') determines the outcome of the dispute even before evidence is presented. The article reveals the toxic symbiosis between a controversial leader and the media, which on one hand perform a supervisory function and on the other become tools of systemic delegitimation, transforming journalism into identity politics.
