Google has rolled out new AI features for the Google Drive mobile app on both Android and iPhone. Previously available only on the web version, these tools now help users find information and manage files more easily from their smartphones.
One of the new features, AI Overviews, provides a quick summary of information from multiple documents. Instead of opening several files, you can see the key details in one place and find what you need much faster.
Google has also introduced Ask Gemini, which lets you chat with Gemini AI about the files stored in your Google Drive. You can ask questions, request summaries, or get a better understanding of your documents without reading every page.
The update is currently rolling out in English for Android and iPhone users, with support for more languages expected soon. These AI features make Google Drive a smarter and more convenient tool for managing files on the go.
