I Tried Meta’s Pocket App: Vibe Coding Makes Game Creation Surprisingly Easy

Meta is bringing vibe coding to a much wider audience with Pocket, an AI app that lets people create small interactive games just by describing what they want.

There’s no need to learn programming first. Users can enter a simple idea, and Pocket turns it into a playable experience called a “gizmo.”
These gizmos can react to taps, dragging, phone movements, sounds, camera input, and even photos.

Once a creation is ready, users can edit it, save it, share it, or remix someone else’s work. This gives Pocket a feel that is part game maker and part social app.

Pocket is powered by Meta’s Muse Spark AI model. After testing the app in Brazil, Meta has started rolling it out to users in the U.S.

The app is aimed at small games, quizzes, puzzles, interactive memes, and other simple ideas rather than large, full-scale games.

What makes Pocket interesting is how quickly someone can go from an idea to something playable without knowing how to code.

It could give more people a chance to try game creation, especially those who have creative ideas but no programming skills.

More importantly, Pocket shows where AI-generated content could be heading. We’re moving beyond content we simply read, watch, or listen to and towards experiences we can actually interact with.
