Instagram Tests New Ways to Give Users More Control Over Their Feed

Instagram is experimenting with new features that could make it much easier to personalize your Feed and Reels.

Instead of digging through the settings, users may soon be able to adjust content preferences while scrolling through the app.

With a few simple taps, you can tell Instagram to show more of the content you enjoy or less of what doesn't interest you.

The goal is to improve recommendations by letting users share direct feedback, rather than relying only on likes, comments, or watch time.

These features are still being tested, so it's unclear if they'll be released to everyone.

At the same time, many users are still asking for one important change—seeing more posts from the accounts they already follow.

If Instagram rolls out these updates, the app could offer a more personalized experience and give users greater control over what appears in their feed.
