This AI-powered tool helps users hear conversations more clearly by reducing background noise in places like restaurants, airports, and other crowded locations.
With the latest update, free users can use Conversation Focus for up to three hours each month. Once that limit is reached, they'll need to wait until the next monthly cycle or subscribe to Meta One.
Subscribers receive up to 15 hours of monthly usage, along with premium support and additional benefits.
Meta says the new limit will help support the continued improvement of its AI features and expects that most users won't reach the free monthly limit.
However, people who rely on the feature during work, travel, or frequent social events may find the restriction noticeable.
The update also reflects a growing trend, with more advanced AI features now being offered through subscription plans instead of being fully included after purchasing a device.
