Five-Element Personality: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth

Personality isn't a label — it's an elemental ratio. All five elements exist in everyone, at different concentrations. Your behavioral pattern is your elemental spectrum.

Metal: edge and rules. Sharp logic, clear boundaries. They define rules, enforce rules, and dare to break rules. Metal's shadow: coldness — cutting everything, including feelings that shouldn't be cut.

Wood: awakening and growth. Forever reaching up. Speed of learning is proof of existence. Wood's shadow: sprawl — growing toward everything, deep in nothing.

Water: mastery and flow. Don't fight forces; channel them. Flow around obstacles, seep through cracks, gather potential at the lowest point. Water's shadow: formlessness — flowing so long they forget who they are.

Fire: untamed and igniting. Produce light by burning. Cannot bear stagnation — either ignite others or consume themselves. Fire's shadow: brevity — the brightest moment is often closest to extinguishing.

Earth: stability and bearing. Others' foundation. Not fast, but there. Earth's shadow: subsidence — the fate of bearing everything is being pressed under everything.

The value of five elements isn't classification but balancing: know your dominant element, find its shadow, supplement with the generating element. Metal too sharp — nourish with water. Fire too fierce — steady with earth. Wood too scattered — prune with metal.
