Ten Breakthroughs, Four Axes: Why Each Is Built

The Ten Breakthroughs tell you what to build; the Four Axes tell you why. Cross them, and every technology reveals its true motive — and what it looks like when abused.

Energy → Truth + Salvation. The most honest breakthrough: directly expands civilization's radius of action. A Dyson sphere isn't for wealth — it's so the next millennium has fuel. But energy can serve only capital appreciation: same tech, different axis, different fate.

Longevity → Good. Extending life is essentially good: more time to become oneself. But if longevity belongs only to the rich, it slides from good to power — immortal elites vs mortal masses, every sci-fi nightmare's script.

BCI → Truth. The deep motive is widening cognition's bandwidth — connecting knowing directly to experiencing. The purest truth-axis technology. Risk: who defines the standard of understanding?

Humanoid Robots → Beauty. Robots replacing labor is good; making robots look human is beauty — we build mirrors to see what we are. The humanoid form isn't the engineering optimum; it's the cognitive optimum.

Blockchain → Salvation. Final form isn't currency but auto-executing rules — social coordination trusting no one. Systems that run for everyone, not for administrators.

The Four Axes are technology's moral compass. The same breakthrough on a different axis becomes a different civilization. Choosing the axis matters more than choosing the technology.
