Question 1: Do You Have Your Own Factory?
If the answer is "no" or "we outsource" — walk away.
When show day is 2 days away and your booth is not ready, an outsourced supplier has no skin in the game.
Question 2: Can You Build in Multiple Cities?
If your business is expanding to shows in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing — you need a contractor who can execute in all three without subcontractors.
Question 3: What Are the Hidden Fees?
The quote often excludes: electricity connections, exhibitor manual compliance, late-night overtime rates, material disposal.
Question 4: Show Me a Recent Build Photo, Not a CGI Rendering
CGI mockups look perfect. Reality sometimes does not. Ask for photos from a real show at the same venue.
Question 5: What Is Your Cancellation and Change Policy?
Know: What happens if you cancel 30 days out? 7 days out? What are the change fees?
