GiveRadar is a free global charity database and intelligence platform covering 7.9M+ nonprofits across 100+ countries. One search gives you integrity signals, financials, leadership, and red flags for any charity we cover.
GiveRadar started with a simple frustration: checking a charity outside your own country is surprisingly hard. Every government keeps its own register, in its own format and language, and most donors don't know these registers exist. So we brought them together. GiveRadar now covers 7.9M+ nonprofits from official registers in 100+ countries, with financials, leadership, and, where the data allows, an integrity assessment. It's free for donors, and we're honest about each register's limits. Charities can't pay for placement or scores.
Our stack
Django and PostgreSQL, with trigram indexes, so name search stays fast across millions of rows. Redis for caching, Tailwind, HTMX, and Alpine.js on the frontend, all on a single Hetzner VPS behind Cloudflare. The data comes from 50+ official sources through Python import pipelines per country, from bulk CSV and XML files to SPARQL and OData APIs. Developers can use the REST API, a remote MCP server so AI assistants can search and verify charities, and an open-source Python client.
