Hey folks,
So, I'm actually a tech support guy by trade, and I used to be miles away from anything development-related. But man, these past couple of years, AI has been on fire, letting even amateurs like me flex some coding muscles.
With the economy being what it is, I've been hustling to see if I can make a few bucks building websites. That's why I've been hitting the books on web development.
This site's my fifth rodeo. The first three were WordPress jobs, so not much real coding there. For the fourth one, I dipped my toes into JS, HTML, Tailwind, and threw Claude into the mix. It was just a simple static page to get my feet wet.
But let me tell you, using AI for coding? It's a game-changer. Suddenly, it feels like even I can whip up some basic dev work. It's mind-blowing what AI can do these days.
For this fifth site, I went all in with the hot new thing, Next.js. I hooked it up to a third-party API to create an auto image expansion tool. Right now, I'm in promo mode, hoping to get some feedback from you pros out there.
If you wanna check it out, it's at aiexpandimage.org.
Any tips or advice would be awesome. Thanks!
