Honestly, I think the most important things for a junior dev outside of the fundamentals (js, css, html) is an advanced understanding of git, working with teams (do this in opensource), and having done a lot of projects that arent just the basic tutorial projects. It will set you apart and you will learn a lot of these along the way.
