Take a look at this data from SimilarWeb, which tracks Claude.ai's daily traffic from early January to the end of March.
At the beginning of January, daily visits were around 4 million. By the end of March, that number peaked at 24 million. That’s a sixfold increase in just three months!
And this isn’t just a fleeting spike. If you look at the overall trend, the baseline is consistently rising. Sure, there are fluctuations each week (weekend traffic tends to dip), but every low point is higher than the last.

By mid-February, the growth really started to pick up, jumping from 8 million to 12 million. This coincided with several important product updates from Claude.
In mid to late March, traffic peaked again, nearing 25 million. Although it dipped back to around 17 million, that "new baseline" is still higher than the peak from February.
