I would like to know how one can go about becoming an advisor to a company. Is that like a board position? Do advisors get paid? or is it equity based? What kind of advisory a company requires? Technical, strategy etc?
I have been working in the Software filed for more than 6 years, and is leading a product internally. I think I can help companies set a strategy on building features, roadmap etc. How do i advertise myself on this?
