Nvidia's board launched an independent investigation into CEO Jensen Huang following reports regarding his relationship with a Megaspeed executive.
Nvidia states there is no evidence of corporate leaks or security risks, and the CEO is cooperating with the probe.
The acceptance of the relationship
Jensen Huang publicly admitted, via a message to company employees, that he had an extramarital affair with Alice Huang. In the same message, he apologized to his family and colleagues, admitting that his behavior was inappropriate for his position.
What we know about the research
Nvidia says that based on the evidence gathered so far, there is no indication that any trade secrets were leaked or that U.S. national security was compromised. Jensen Huang says he is fully cooperating with the investigation, which is being conducted by independent members of Nvidia's board of directors with the assistance of outside counsel. Huang continues to have the support of the company's board.
