Samsung is reportedly developing Galaxy Studio, a premium wireless over-ear headphone line.
Reported connectivity details include Bluetooth 6.1, LE Audio with LC3 and Auracast, plus AAC, SBC and SSC UHQ codecs—but these are estimates, not Samsung-confirmed specifications.
The report also notes that Samsung has announced no launch date or price.
Possible functions and features
Samsung hasn't announced any specifications. The following are SamMobile's estimates and not confirmed features. The list includes:
- Bluetooth 6.1, with LE Audio, LC3 codec and Auracast.
- AAC, SBC and SSC UHQ codecs.
- Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC), i.e. adaptive noise cancellation, with multiple microphones, and Adaptive EQ.
- Super Wideband, which could improve voice quality on calls.
- Buds Auto Switch for automatic switching between devices and Samsung Find for locating the headphones.
- Bixby and Google Gemini support.
- Charging via USB Type-C, as a possible feature.
Leak and possible date
@evowizz correctly revealed the name Galaxy Buds On, Samsung's recent clip-on headphones. This adds an element of credibility to the Galaxy Studio name leak, without meaning that the company has confirmed it.
SamMobile estimates that the Galaxy Studio could launch in early 2027, alongside the Galaxy S27 series. The estimate is based on when information about the headphones first surfaced. Samsung has not announced a release date or price.
