I let AI make my art, and now I'm conflicted.

I've been using AI image tools like Freepixel and Midjourney for visuals. Type "a fox in a trench coat walking through cyberpunk Tokyo," and you'll get an image that feels like a movie poster.

It's impressive. It's complicated.

It's clear why it's so tempting.
It's super fast — no drawing, no Photoshop.

No design skills are required.

It works great for blogs, thumbnails, mockups, and idea boards.

At FreePixel, it has accelerated content creation and visual brainstorming. But that convenience raises bigger questions.

It gets messy here.
Many AI models are trained on artists' work without permission.

There's a flood of low-effort "AI slop" on social platforms.

If the AI makes the image, I'm still the creator.

Some forums are banning AI art outright, deeming it spammy and prejudicial to traditional artists.

Final Thoughts
I'm not against AI art. It has opened up creative doors I didn't know I had. It has caused me to rethink what it means to create, own, and share art in a time when machines can do it faster than we can think.

What's your take?
Have you used AI tools in your projects?

Do they boost your creativity — or do you feel like you're cheating?

Use them for your blog, app, or game visuals.
