This document provides step-by-step instructions for creating a role in OpenIAM. within our setup, we established an Active Directory Members role.
note:
If the Active Directory members role is not specified or declared, provisioning will not occur successfully.

Navigate to the Access Control section
Select the Role Tab
- click on Create New Role

Role type: Provision Role
the password policy: Default Pswd Policy
Role Name: Active Directory members
Role Description: The role is used to provision users to Active Directory using AD PowerShell connector
Role Managed System: AD PowerShell managed system
Role status: Active
Is Visible: The checkbox is ticked
Participate in Access Certification: The checkbox is ticked
click the Save button to ensure everything is stored properly.
Congratulations! The Active Directory Members role has been successfully created in the OpenIAM.
