Tip for parents: a caller from "bank" or "customer care" says, "To fix your refund, please install AnyDesk or TeamViewer." Stop right there. These screen-sharing apps let the caller see your phone screen, including OTPs and your UPI PIN, and drain your account.
Real bank staff never ask you to install an app. Hang up, and call the number printed on your card or passbook yourself.
