7%) and the difference was statistically significant (P less then 0.05). There were no serious complications in both groups. The application of the computer anesthesia system combined with articaine adrenaline in the painless treatment of children's dental pulp proved to have better effects, the treatment compliance is higher, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
We aimed to determine the difference between contrast-enhanced spectral mammography (CESM) and contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (CE-MRI) in detecting multifocal and multicentric breast cancer (MMBC).

This study was conducted among breast cancer patients between July 1, 2017, and May 30, 2021. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of CESM and CE-MRI in the diagnosis of MMBC were evaluated with pathological results as the gold standard.

A total of 188 lesions were detected in 54 patients with MMBC, including 177 breast cancer and 11 benign lesions. Based on CESM and CE-MRI, 4 false-positive cases and 3 false-negative cases and 7 false-positive cases and 1 false-negative case, respectively, were found. The accuracy of CESM was higher than that of MRI (96.3% vs 95.7%), and the specificity was higher than that of MRI (63.6% vs 36.4%). There were no significant differences in the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy for the detection of MMBC between CESM and CE-MRI (
 = 0.500;
 = 0.250;
 = 0.792).

CESM is an effective method for the detection of MMBC, which is consistent with the sensitivity and accuracy of CE-MRI.

Species identification within Nipponacmea is challenging due to the high variation in shell morphology. In this study, we examined the taxonomy of this genus represented by nine nominal species from 43 localities (including type localities). Results of the molecular phylogenetic analysis revealed that (1) N.gloriosa, the sole species in this genus inhabiting the subtidal zone, represents the most basal independent branch; (2) the remaining species are divided into two large clades with lower- and higher-apex shell profiles; and (3) the high-apex morphology was derived from the low-apex type. The terminal clades defined using the molecular data were consistent with nine morphospecies and had 100% bootstrap values, strongly supporting the conventional taxonomy of Nipponacmea. Although morphological similarities do not always reflect phylogeny, the set of morphological characters used in the current taxonomy were proven to be adequate for diagnosis. In conclusion, this study provided solid evidence to uphold the monophyly of known species of Nipponacmea in Japan and demonstrated the usefulness of morphological characters for species diagnosis.
Retrospective study on the safety and efficacy of anlotinib in the treatment of advanced leiomyosarcoma in real-world.

Clinical data were collected from patients suffered from advanced leiomyosarcoma who received anlotinib treatment in Cancer Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from January 2018 to December 2020. Objective response rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) were analyzed according to the RECIST 1.1 criteria. The progression free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS) and adverse reactions were recorded and calculated.

A total of 19 patients (14 female, 5 male) were enrolled, 3 (15.8%) achieved partial response (PR), 11 (57.9%) achieved stable disease (SD), with an ORR of 15.8%, a DCR of 73.7%, a median PFS of 4.1 months (95% CI 3.0~5.2) and a median OS of 23.5 months (95% CI 14.2~32.7). The majority of adverse events were grade 1/2, the most common grade 3/4 adverse events were hand-foot syndrome (12.5%), hypertension (5.3%) and oral ulcer (5.3%).

Our results forecast that anlotinib is effective, safe and alternative in treatment of advanced leiomyosarcoma in real-world, combined with immunotherapy may become a potential treatment option. Further, more prospective randomized controlled trials are needed to confirm these findings.

In this work, we propose a method to systematically evaluate the system and noise responses such that the nonlinear transfer properties can be mapped out. The method involves sampling of lesion perturbations as a function of size, contrast, as well as clinically relevant features such as shape and texture that may be important for diagnosis. We embed the perturbations in backgrounds of varying attenuation levels, noise magnitude and correlation that are associated with different patient anatomies and imaging protocols. The range of system and noise response are further used to evaluate performance for clinical tasks such as signal detection and classification. We performed the assessment for an example CNN-denoising algorithm for low does lung CT screening. The system response of the CNN-denoising algorithm exhibits highly nonlinear behavior such algorithms in medical imaging applications.To analyze the difference of circulating lncRNA expression profile between the healthy control group and cerebral infarction (CI) patients and to study the epigenetic pathogenesis of CI. Forty patients with acute CI admitted to our hospital from December 2016 to December 2017 were selected as CI group, and 40 healthy people in physical examination center were selected as healthy group. In the CI group, blood samples were taken 5 mL at fasting in the morning (within 72 hours of CI), and the blood samples from healthy group were also taken 5 mL at fasting in the morning. The circulating lncRNA expression profile of serum sample was determined by high-throughput technique, and its difference was analyzed. Bioinformatics technology was used to explore its functional mechanism, and GO, KEGG analysis, and gene expression network were established for lncRNA with significant differences. Next, lnc-ZNF32-1  1 and lnc-PCGF5-2  1 were selected for further validation of serum lncRNA expression in ACI and NC groups, and ceRNA interaction network analysis, diagnostic specificity, and sensitivity of lnc-ZNF32-1  1 and lnc-PCGF5-2  1 were conducted. The results showed that compared with the healthy group, there were 512 known lncRNA expressed differentially in the serum of patients with CI, of which 371 were upregulated and 141 were downregulated, and 421 known mRNA expressed differentially, of which 245 were upregulated and 176 downregulated. The differentially expressed mRNA was mainly enriched in 53 gene functions, and the target gene was enriched in the pathways such as HTLV-I infection and pathways in cancer. In addition, the results explored that lnc-ZNF32-1  1 and lnc-PCGF5-2  1 have potential value for CI diagnosis. In conclusion, the expression profile of lncRNA in CI group was significantly different from that in healthy group, indicating that lncRNA might be closely related to the occurrence, development, and prognosis of CI.
To analyze the role of muscle energy technique (MET) plus Neurac method in stroke patients with hemiplegia complicated by diabetes mellitus and the impact on quality of life.

From January 2021 to December 2021, 100 stroke patients with hemiplegia complicated by diabetes mellitus treated in our institution and assessed for eligibility were recruited and randomly assigned (1  3) via the random sampling method to either the conventional rehabilitation group or the experimental group. The patients in the experimental group were randomized (1  1  1) into either the MET group (receives MET), the Neurac group (receives Neurac), or the joint group (receives MET plus Neurac). The primary endpoint is the clinical efficacy, and the second endpoint is the quality of life.

The eligible patients had similar pretreatment Barthel index scores, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores, Berg balance scale (BBS) scores, Tinetti scores, Fugl-Meyer scores, and quality of life (QoL) scores (

0.05). The treatment herein achieved significant improvements in Barthel index scores, VAS scores (2.71 ± 0.28), BBS scores, Tinetti scores, Fugl-Meyer scores, and QoL scores (99.67 ± 10.62), and MET plus Neurac method obtained the best results versus both the conventional rehabilitation and monotherapy of either MET or Neurac (
< 0.05).

Neurac method plus MET improves the independent mobility of stroke patients with hemiplegia and diabetes, relieves pain, enhances balance and stability, mitigates limb dysfunction, and boosts patients' quality of life, so it is worthy of clinical application.

IMA, a new indicator of tissue ischemia and oxidative stress, was checked. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, another oxidative stress indicator, was examined. SB-480848 Endothelin-1 (ET-1), one of the parameters of endothelial dysfunction, was measured. Additionally, endothelial function was evaluated with flow-mediated vasodilatation (FMD). Student's t-test was used for statistical evaluation. p values less than 0.05 were considered statistically significant. SOD activity was significantly lower in the diabetic group than in the control group, and ET-1 was significantly higher (p less then 0.001). IMA was found to be significantly higher in the diabetic group than the control group (p less then 0.001). FMD was significantly lower in diabetic group compared to the control group (p less then 0.002). According to our findings, the co-occurrence of erectile dysfunction and diabetes demonstrates a complex condition that includes endothelial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and tissue ischemia. When the correlation of indicators, which are markers, was examined, the severity of the co-occurrence of diabetes and erectile dysfunction was again demonstrated.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of curcumin on melanoma and its mechanism.

Curcumin (0, 0.125, 0.25, or 0.5 mg/ml) was utilized to treat A375 and HT144 cell lines. The MTT analysis was used to confirm the proliferation ability. Wound healing and transwell analysis showed the migration and invasion ability. Immunofluorescence assay was used to demonstrate the effect of curcumin on SOX10 expression. Multiple bioinformatic analysis to confirm the SOX10 associated miRNA. The correlation of miR-222-3p and SOX10 was detected by Luciferase reporter assays. qRT-PCR showed the miR-222-3p level. Western blot analyzed the expression of SOX10, Notch1, and HES1 in melanoma cell treated with or without miR-222-3p inhibitor.

Curcumin could inhibit the proliferation, migration, and invasion of melanoma cells. Furthermore, curcumin repress the expression of SOX10, Notch1, and HES-1, and increase the expression of miR-222-3p. And the miR-222-3p could directly target to SOX10 mRNA to inhibit its expression.SB-480848
