Why I Cryptographically Signed & Patented My Commercial Profile Picture (RSA-4096 + Ed25519)

Anyone can right-click and save a JPEG.
Nobody can forge a 4096-bit RSA X.509 signature and an OpenSSH Ed25519 commit chain.

As developers and founders, our visual identity across GitHub, GitLab, and enterprise registries is our commercial seal. With AI-generated impersonation and repo spoofing on the rise, I decided to treat my commercial business avatar (pavan-kumar-sadashiv-official-commercial-avatar.jpg) the exact same way we treat production binaries at HRL International Private Limited: statutory IP protection backed by deterministic cryptographic verification.

🛡️ The Architecture of a Cryptographically Locked Avatar

Every artifact in the repository—the canonical 736×736 RGB JPEG, the Markdown Patent & Trade Dress Dossier (HRL-IP-PAT-AVATAR-2026-PKS-001), and the printable A4 PDF Charter—is bound exclusively under the legal and cryptographic identity of Pavan Kumar Sadashiv.

Verify It Yourself in 3 Seconds

Instead of "trust me bro," the repository ships with a zero-dependency verification oracle (verify_avatar_patent_signatures.py) that validates:

  1. Byte-exact SHA-256 and SHA-512 hashes of the avatar, dossier, and PDF charter.
  2. The X.509 certificate subject (CN=Pavan Kumar Sadashiv) and detached .sig signatures via openssl dgst -sha256 -verify.
  3. Detached .sshsig signatures against allowed_signers via ssh-keygen -Y verify.

bash

cd pavan-kumar-sadashiv-avatar-patent
python3 verify_avatar_patent_signatures.py

# VERIFIED OK: All Patent Documents, Commercial Profile Image Hashes, X.509 RSA-4096 & OpenSSH Ed25519 Signatures confirmed under Pavan Kumar Sadashiv.
