Man, I feel your struggle. I'm in the same limbo as you, but with my 6700 xt. Tried Linux rocm, directml on win and finally tensorflow metal on Mac os(at least this one worked but still no pytorch support). Not sure if I should sell the card and get a 3060 ti(but only 8gigs of Vram)
