My name is Laurent, I am from France and eager to learn new things about best development practices on many kind of technologies.
Former student in mechanic and productic, I graduated to Informatics and Robotics engineering with the help of the IMERIR school, located at Perpignan.
Then I become a software architect and developer for some prpjects, and mainly a huge one which was a software used to display and allow near-realtime update of in-flight people planning in an airline company.
After 10 years in those comfy shoes I joined a DevOps team aimed at providing and using performance testing tools for sensitive and critical softwares.
Throughout the years I discovered and mastered many technologies like Java/J2EE, Eclipse RCP, OSGi, P2/Oomph (update technology of the Eclipse IDE), Oracle PL-SQL.. and keep a deep understanding of accessibility best practices (even if I don't use it often !).
I could told you about many other things I did in my life, but let's keep that for the articles to come ! The first one will probably be about the Oomph technology and may arrive very soon, so stay tuned !
