    • Email Address
    • Click “Sign Up”.
    • Check your email for a verification code and enter it.

Note: For Safety, Use 2-factor authentication for your account

  • Create an account (As done in 3 above)
  • Set up your channel
    • Customize your profile: Add the following:
      • Profile picture
      • Bio
      • Channel Description
      • Banners and Overlays
  • Choose streaming software
    • Popular options:
      • OBS Studio (free)
      • XSplit
      • Streamlabs OBS These software help you capture and stream video/audio.
  • Configure settings
    • Set up:
      • Video quality (resolution, frame rate)
      • Audio settings (bitrate, sample rate)
      • Internet connection (upload speed)
    • Test your stream to ensure quality.
  • Go live
    • Start your stream and:
    • Interact with viewers through live chat
    • Respond to comments and engage with your audience
    • Use polls, giveaways, and other interactive tools

    • Share your stream on:
      • Social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)

  • Left Sidebar: Shows streamers you follow.
  • Top Navigation:
    • Following: View your favorite streamers.
    • Discover: New and trending content.
    • Notifications Bell: Alerts for when streamers go live.

6. Following and Watching Streamers

To follow a streamer:

  • Click on a stream you like.
  • Click the “Follow” button (heart icon).

To watch a stream:

  • Simply click the stream's thumbnail.
  • The live video will appear, and you can start watching and chatting.

7. Using Chat

  • Chat Box: On the right side of the stream.
  • Type your message and press Enter to send.
  • You can use emotes (emoji) or @username to mention others.
  • Chat Rules:
    • Respect others.
    • No spamming
    • Hate speech
    • Self-promotion.
  • The Streamer will reply directly through the stream or reply also using the chat box.

NOTE: If you don't want anyone to see your chat with the streamer you make use of the "Whisper"

  • Affiliate Program: For Smal streamers with growing audience
  • Subscribers: Viewers pay to monthly to support streamers
  • Bits: Virtual tips from fans
  • Ads and Sponsorships: Available after meeting Twitch's requirements.
