Rosolina, with 6,020 inhabitants, nestles in Rovigo province (Veneto) at 45.07°N, 12.24°E, just kilometers from the Po River Delta, where the Adige and Po rivers meet the Adriatic Sea. Perched on rolling hills near the Caleri Lagoon, its 72 km² territory includes Rosolina Mare, a 150-hectare pine forest, and a 10 km sandy beach. The municipality is part of the UNESCO MAB Po Delta area and preserves historical traces of coastal transformation from the Middle Ages to the 17th-century land reclamation projects.
