Good post. It is amazing how very quickly you do get into this as a profession of how little time you actually spend coding. I spend roughly six hours a day on calls, reviewing others' code, talking to customers via email (straightening them out mostly because they do not even understand their own use cases and expectations) and I could go on and on.
From mental health & arts to software engineer in under a year. Passionate about tech for good. Will inevitably end up writing about how coding makes me feel too…
Interesting! I'm so curious to find out what my first tech job will entail. I definitely expect to be largely learning, at least initially. I think (and hope!) that the learning actually never stops.
