DeFi has come a long way, no question. But getting more people to use it isn't really about launching yet another protocol. People need to get how this stuff works, what it's good for, and what can go wrong.
Making DeFi less scary to start with
If you're new to crypto, even a basic token swap throws a bunch of questions at you. Which network do I pick? What am I paying in fees? How do I even know this token is the real one?
That's exactly where usability and education come in. AviorSwap is one of the projects in a space that's trying to make swaps easier to get into, and I think that's a goal worth digging into.
A smoother experience shouldn't mean hiding the complicated parts or pushing people to click fast, though. It should help you understand what's happening so you can make your own call.
Adoption is slow, and that's fine
More apps alone won't make DeFi mainstream. People also need info they can trust, interfaces that make sense, and honest expectations about security and volatility.
What comes next depends on whether builders can pair useful tech with product design that's actually responsible.
So what would make you (or your friends) feel more comfortable trying DeFi?
