Sports Medicine & Complementary Therapies Workshop is a one-stop online course on training rehabilitation practitioners who are keen to integrate holistic approaches in conventional methods of sports medicine. Sports Medicine Complementary Therapies Workshop The workshop brings together the principles of contemporary, evidence-based practice with an immense collection of established practices in complementary medicine to build a well-balanced emphasis on injury rehabilitation and athlete performance.
Among the topics that will be addressed, are cupping therapy, dry needling based fundamentals, sport taping, kinesiology and myofascial release techniques. The participants will also be introduced to mindfulness-based approaches, breath practices, the science of nutrition, and energy-based practices of healing in sports medicine or rehabilitation. The program linked the two fields of practice so that a plus-minus-athlete approach would be established regarding their well-being.
