Tracking Publishing Status Across Multiple Platforms

Once you publish to several platforms, a new question appears: where has this post actually gone?

Model the state

Give each post a record per platform:

Show it in the admin

• A badge per platform (green = published, grey = not yet, red = failed).
• A filter so editors can see only posts not yet on Medium.
• A retry button for failed attempts.

Store the returned URLs

Every platform returns a URL after publishing. Save it — it's how you link back, update later, or detect duplicates.
