Modified wood or more specifically heat-modified wood, the language in the industry is Thermo, we can simply understand that modified wood is the product of the process of changing the properties of natural wood through heat treatment. Regarding the heat treatment process, in factories, during the processing period, the temperature in the thermowood chambers is pushed up, controlled up to 320°C, while the internal temperature of the wood is controlled from 120°C. – 220°C.
Modified wood is used in construction and interior and exterior decoration, so modified wood has many outstanding advantages.
Modified wood is often more expensive than natural wood because it has to go through a complex processing process to adjust the quality, ensuring it is suitable for needs and construction projects.
