Typescript is awesome for bringing some sanity to the chaos that is javascript, but even if there was a single language suitable for everything (which there isn't), it wouldn't be typescript or any javascript-based language. And I can't be alone in preferring to set my servers on fire before I'd ever use any kind of javascript outside the front end of a web stack; it just isn't a language that holds up in the worlds of strongly typed precompiled languages.
