Starting HNGi8

HNG Internship, operated by Zuri, is an annually operating, large scale virtual internship for people seeking to learn a tech skill or improve on what they already know. It focuses on the post-training phase and creates a virtual work environment for its participants. It is a fast-paced, nerve-racking, challenging and otherwise fun learning experience.

The 8th season of the internship - HNGi8, kickstarted today, and I'm anxious but excited to be one of the interns. The program spans for a period of 8weeks, and in that time, I plan to hone my skills in frontend development, network and grow my connections while marketing my skills and have a good time while doing it.

The Zuri team happens to have a YouTube channel, which is brimming with knowledge and content. You can find beginner-friendly or advanced level content from several technologies and frameworks. A few of them are listed below.

-Practical introduction to HTML & CSS
-Introduction to figma
-Introduction to git
-JavaScript for beginners

Fingers crossed as I go on this exhilarating journey!
