I built a free tool that turns a blog post into three platform-native social posts

My blog posts kept ending their lives at "publish." The ideas were fine; I just never did the repurposing step, because rewriting the same idea per platform is a chore.

So I built a free tool for exactly that step. Paste up to ~5,000 characters of your post, pick a platform (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, or Facebook), and it generates three candidate social posts, each from a different angle: the core insight, a specific detail, and a question-led hook. Platform formatting (character limits, structure, hashtag conventions) is handled per target.

The design constraint I cared most about: it only uses facts and examples present in the pasted text. For this use case an invented statistic is worse than a bland post, so it extracts instead of embellishing.

No login required. Try it here: https://xreplyai.com/tools/blog-to-social-post-generator?utm_source=devto&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=feature-2026-07-22

If you write dev blog posts and never share them, this is for you.
