Do you have a backup system? What happens if your motherboard or HDD dies?
I have 10-15 tabs on both Firefox and Chrome, same with mobile browsers. When they’ve been sitting idling for too long then I bookmark them where they will gather dust for eternity.

With my workflow, they are meant to be "temporary". I wouldn't be mad if they disappeared randomly one day. I would be a bummer, but it won't be a show stopper.
If they are important, I'd either remember how to get there or bookmark them ^^
It's the same as how I'd treat a TODO list. I would be a chore to remember what I had to do. But if it's important, I'd remember how to get there.
Well. If motherboard or HDD (try to upgrade to SSD, it's smaller and you can store more in your PC) dies, everything dies. Your data, your apps, and everything. So, if you are genuinely worried about this, get a backup!
I’m not worried about my backups but about @michaelsalim ~200 tabs if his comp happened to die. ;)
It would be a bummer to loose this much browsing history.
