The Problem: Traditional Budgeting is Tedious
Let’s be honest—most budgeting apps feel like homework. You’re either manually entering every coffee purchase or fighting with a spreadsheet that hasn't been updated since 2024. I wanted something that felt more like a conversation and less like data entry.
Introducing BudgetWise AI
I developed BudgetWise AI to bridge the gap between complex financial tracking and user-friendly interaction. It’s a Windows-based tool designed to help you visualize your spending habits through natural language and AI-driven insights.
Key Features
Conversational Interface: No more clicking through endless menus. Just ask about your spending.
Intelligent Insights: Get summaries of your financial health without needing a degree in accounting.
Privacy-Focused: Built as a native Windows application to keep your data closer to you.
The Tech Stack
As a developer, I wanted to ensure the app felt snappy and integrated well with the Windows ecosystem.
Frontend/UI: Built for the Microsoft Store (MSIX/Appx distribution).
Core Logic: AI-assisted content generation logic to parse and categorize financial data.
Where to find it
You can check out the app directly on the Microsoft Store. I’m actively looking for feedback from the developer community on how to improve the AI's categorization and what features you’d like to see next!
