Creating a Herb Crusher(mortar and Pestle) using SelfCAD’s AI Assistant
A mortar and pestle is a simple yet practical tool for crushing and grinding herbs and spices. In this tutorial, we’ll use SelfCAD’s AI Assistant to create a 3D herb crusher by describing its key components and overall design in a text prompt
Once you launch the editor, click on AI modeling on the Toolbar as shown below
The highlighted box indicates where we input our prompt,
The assistant feedback suggests the elements that will be included in the model. Once we’ve reviewed them, we click Prepare parts
The window shows the dimensions of the model, and since we will be including all the elements, we click on Generate Elements
Beside each element in this process, you’ll see the ‘Creating’ sign. Wait until all the elements have finished generating and the sign turns to ‘Ready’. Click ‘Assemble Model’
Click on Preview Assembly to see how the model turned out.
