I had my most lovely vacation yet. 2.5 weeks of pure joy with friends and family.
I visited my very close friend who just moved to Calgary (+ my annual Calgary visit). Visited childhood friends, went to the arcade + karting. Loved it.
Then I visited the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. First time in the US. Border control was quite chill than I had imagined. "Business or pleasure", "What are your plans?" maybe two other questions. Even though deep down, the only answer I wanted to give was "Do you sincerely think I'll leave all my life, my wife, friends and then choose to live as an unregistered immigrant in the US? Really?" But I guess I wasn't bold enough to say that.
I'll finish up this article this week. Half bread is better than chocolate cake.
