This is basically the article I've wanted to write for a while. I've felt this a lot more as I've gotten back into doing server rendered apps with Elixir.
That's my impression as well: an SPA requires much more work and, often, offers no benefits. Naturally, the latter isn't the SPA's fault as it's up to individual projects to choose the appropriate architecture.
I'm happy to see that more and more people are starting to migrate away from SPAs to other solutions.
