HacktoberFest - An introduction and Tip for getting started! [Video]

That time of the year is upon us again...

HacktoberFest 2019!

Celebrate

The brilliant time of year where people scramble back to their github acounts in order to achieve the most prized and sought-after awards... The fabled "Limited Edition T-Shirt" (and of-course any stickers that come bundled with it, yay stickers)...

Anyway I made a video (below) to explain to any of those people that are looking in from the outside and wondering what all the fuss is about. In this video I explain (hopefully) what HacktoberFest is, how to get involved and signed up and then cover a quick power tip for getting involved and contribute to your first open source project...

Enjoy...

Good luck with your hacking and let me know in the comments down below any other brilliant tips you would give to people that are trying to get involved with open source...
