I’ve spent weeks testing 17 AI Detectors, Here's My Verdict!

Hold onto your keyboards, folks! I just spent weeks playing detective with 17 AI detectors, and the results? Mind. Blown. 🤯

Here’s the deal

I wanted to crack the code on which AI detectors actually keep up with today’s hyper-evolving chatbots. So, I went full mad scientist 🧪 and threw six writing samples at every tool:

  • 5 AI-generated blogs (300 words each) from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and Deepseek, all prompted sneakily to sound as human as possible. (Think: “Write like a tired college student who just drank three coffees.” ☕️☕️☕️)

  • 1 human-written gem I penned myself back in 2020 (RIP, pre-AI era ✌️).

Why? To see which detectors could spot all the AI fakes while giving my old-school human writing a clean pass. 🕵️♂️ No mercy, no shortcuts—just cold, hard data.

I tested every tool under the sun, from popular names to under-the-radar picks. Here’s the full roster:

The Shocking Results 🤖🚨

After running 100+ tests (yes, my eyes still hurt 👀), only 3 detectors nailed a 6/6 score.They flagged every AI sample and spared my human writing. 🏆 Spoiler: These tools are aggressively updating their algorithms to keep pace with GPT-4, Claude 3, and the rest of the chatbot Avengers.

But here’s the kicker: most tools failed miserably. Some flagged my human writing as AI (rude! 😤), while others got tricked by the sneaky prompts.
